This clinic was established as Missouri River Animal Hospital by Dr. Jim Powell.  At the beginning it was just Dr. Powell and one staff member.  

Drs. Andrew and Susan Kliewer purchased the practice on January 1, 1994 and soon after changed the name to Heartland Animal Hospital.  We currently have 3 veterinarians, 3 licensed veterinary technicians and 6 support staff.  We continually provide training and educational opportunities for our staff, so that we may better serve your pet's health care needs.
